‘You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
This weeks photos were taken when we visited our local National Trust property – Nymans we went the same time last year and did their Easter egg hunt then as well. The weather was much better this time round and there were lots of beautiful Spring flowers out which I don’t remember from our last visit. Although I would have been 36 weeks pregnant and to be honest I am not sure I was in the mood to notice the flowers that day!
I tried to make the most of the flowers and the better weather snapping away but I was having one of those days where you take loads and loads of photos but none of them really come out as planned… I like that I did manage to get a photo of both of the boys together which is a rare occurrence. I even managed to get one of them together with them both *sort of* looking at the camera.
My favourite one of Monkey is this one of him peering through the last of the daffodils, he paused literally for a second while hunting for birds and eggs. I liked that they were putting on bunny noses and whiskers to anyone who would let them including a number of the adults.
My favourite of Kipper is this one in the pink tulips, what you don’t know as an observer is this photo has been cut down a little as on the right hand side there is a big blur of Monkey running towards him. I had not realised I had caught Kipper’s pure delight as his brother threw himself at him. He saves this adoring look only for Monkey, no one else in the family gets it. I hope this is a sign of the bond which they are developing.
And unusually this week, theres even a photo of me! In front of the biggest Magnolia flowers I have ever seen.
Hope you all have a lovely Easter break.
