This week has flown by and I don’t feel like we have done very much at all. If this is the first time you have come across the Happy Days Linky it’s hosted by WhatKatySaid and Jenna at TinyFootSteps, please check out their blogs when you get a minute for some inspiration. And if you want to join in then please do, you can find more details here.

Out & About – Last weekend we went to the Floral Fringe Fair at Knepp Castle, I was expecting a mini version of Hampton Court Flower Show. Alas I think I could count on one hand how many flower stalls there were. We had some lovely sausage rolls but left after an hour, and I am sorry to say will not be going back next year. I was so unimpressed that I didn’t even take a picture. As it was half term we didn’t have our normal Sunday swimming class so took the opportunity for a lie in before watching Frozen on DVD. I have been blissfully unaware until now as to what all the fuss has been about. I was pleasantly surprised and even more so when Monkey launched into the song full throttle! Where he has learnt that I have no idea.. Sunday afternoon we went to a Frozen themed party for one of Monkey’s little friends, it was great afternoon held in a big hall with lots of party games and a wonderful cake. It was a nice way to round off the weekend.

I have been working in London for most of the week so there has been limited opportunity to do much after nursery. Although I did attend a PNA meeting at the nursery on Tuesday night, its great getting a better understanding of the things that he gets up to during the day, their future plans and also gives me an opportunity to give something back to the nursery.

Fun at Home – We have been doing more letter ‘A’ activities when possible, which reminds me that I still haven’t managed to get round to writing up the post about them..

Apple Printing for our letter A activities

Time for me – I’ve managed to catch up with friends while travelling to and from London on the train..not sure if that really counts. Tonight I am going out with girlfriends for drinks, I am quite excited about the whole thing – even have a new top to wear. I can’t actually remember the last time I went out!

My Happiest Moment – Monkey and I had lunch in the garden centre today, it was a bit of a spur of the moment decision and he was so good all the way through. I was so proud of him and a little old lady even commented when she left how good he had been. It was lovely eating out on our own we don’t do it very often.

From here we went onto the park and I have a lovely snippet of video of Monkey in a swing singing ‘The sun has got his hat on’ as it goes back and forth. So adorable.

I must also mention the fact that we won The Caterpillar Story Set competition which the lovely Becky at CuddleFairy hosted. I found out on the train and it really brightened up my journey into work. And I have been contacted to do my first official product review. I know many of you reading this have written tons of wonderful product reviews, but for me this a real achievement. I will be posting shortly so watch this space.

Next week I would like to – Packing for our family weekend away to Dawlish we spontaneously booked this week. As far as the blog is concerned I am hoping to be getting to grips with Instagram more, I opened an account this week. You can find me here. I am really enjoying the ease of it when mobile, although the graphics are taking a while to get use to!! I will also be celebrating ‘Mudpie Fridays’ being three months old on the 9th of June, where has the time gone?

Hope you all have truly amazing weekends

Mudpie xx

Hope you had a fab night out! Oh yes, you can’t beat a bit of Frozen, although we are currently taking a little Frozen ‘break’ in our house! Apply printing sounds like a great idea! I might try that with me little boy when the apples get a little too old to eat! Isn’t it just great when the kids are on their best behaviour, so enjoyable! 🙂 x
