If this is the first time you have come across the Happy Days Linky it is hosted by Katy at WhatKatySaid and Jenna at Tinyfootsteps. You can find more details about it here. Its a great way to record the things our little family has been up to in the last week, it also serves to remind me of the things I should be grateful for. Quite often when I am juggling parenthood, work and home life some of the little things can get over looked. This weekly post helps me to bookmark them.

Out & About – On Saturday we braved the weather forecast and headed for Paulton’s Park & Peppa Pig World. I wrote a post about it here so I will not go into it now, but needless to say it was a fantastic day out and I would recommend it to anyone with a young family.

Sunday we had one of Monkey’s little friends 3rd Birthday Party, which was held at a local soft play. He had a brilliant time running around with the other little ones although he did get rather attached to one of the little tykes cars. It also gave me the opportunity to catch up with some of the other nursery mums.

Fun at Home – Sunday afternoon we spent in the garden trying to start to plant up some of the borders which Hubby had been digging out. It always seems to take much longer than it should! We also managed to get our home grown sweetcorn and courgette plants in the ground, along with a very special pumpkin plant which Monkey brought at the garden centre.

This week we also saw our five caterpillars emerge from their chrysalises. You can read the full post here including details of the butterflies trip to nursery.

My Happiest Moment – has got to be waiting to go down the Wave Runner at Paulton’s Park with Monkey and he turned to me and said … ‘Mummy I am glad you didn’t have to go to work today’. Normally I would instantly feel a stab of guilt for having to work at other times, but for some reason this time I was completely wrapped up in the moment and the day out so it didn’t even creep in!

Next week I will be getting ready to go to Britmums and hopefully catching up on some of my blogging to do list…

Hope you all have truly amazing weeks with your families.

Mudpie xx

Looks like a good week. I love the butterfly photo. It is beautiful. That is really cool creating a veg garden. Nice to hear you got to spend time with monkey and have time off.
