Welcome back to my photo a week series, I wanted to take part in the photo a day challenge but working the hours I couldn’t commit. Monkey is not normally in the photographing mood when he comes home from nursery. Even at the weekends sometimes I have to ‘pay’ 20p for a pose! With blogging I find myself taking lots of photos for posts of craft activities or days out but very rarely just because. The purpose of project 52 is to get back to recording our precious moments.

The weather is back to its usual rainy drizzly self so we grabbed a couple of hours of okay weather to get outside and run off some steam. Heading to our favourite park – Dinosaur Island Monkey enjoyed playing on all of the usual play equipment. The only difference this time is that he tried out the climbing nets which run along side a very long slide. Its the rest time he has shown any interest in them as generally they are reserved for the older children. However as the park was not as busy as normal (I think the weather probably put people off) it gave Monkey time to explore them without the older children wanting to get past him. He only went up and down once and was a little nervous initially, but I have a feeling he will be wanting to try it our regualrly now.

Great photo Clare! It’s great when you luck out & there are no other kids there! We had a lovely morning in a play center & somehow were the only ones there for about 20 minutes. I hope the weather clears up so we can all have more outside adventures! #LovelyThings x

  2. Fab photo and that is one rather lovely coat your little man is wearing there too. I am looking forward to spring and more outdoor fun. Thanks for linking up to #lovelythings
