Welcome to the Blogger Club UK!!

I co-host this linky & community with the lovely Becky from Cuddle Fairy. The linky runs from 6am Wednesday – 12pm Friday GMT where all bloggers are welcome to add any type of post they like. The Blogger Club UK community & linky are not limited to the UK – we’d love to have bloggers from all over the world join us. Becky & I will comment on all linked posts between us & we each choose a favorite post to feature the following week.

If this is your first time joining us, please check out the Blogger Club UK Page for more details about the community & linky.

So this week I am going to cheat a little with my Project 52 photo, its actually a photo from when we went to Canada last year. It was taken at a wedding and to me it just epitomises childhood. Monkey tucking into some candy floss that he had wanted since we arrived but having to wait until after the Wedding Breakfast.

The reason I have chosen it as this week during my photography class we used PhotoShop for the first time to try out some selective colour. I am now addicted. This photo lent itself so well as just above the head table was this fantastic light display, which I have highlighted. I am so happy with it that we have ordered a blown up acrylic version to hang in our lounge. It took a lot to replace the 6 month old professionally taken close up photo of him which currently hangs on there!

I guess one of the perks of being a host is that every now and again it allows you to add in a little begging favour… please don’t feel obliged. If you have yet to do your nominations for the MADs please can I ask that you consider nominating Mudpie Fridays. I honestly would be grateful for any of the categories although pregnancy, craft and preschool probably fit best. When I look back at the last 12 months I am very grateful for all the wonderful people I have met on this amazing blogging journey and for everything I have achieved. Being nominated for MADs would completely be the icing on the cake and help justify to my Hubby all the waking hours I spend on the blog around looking after Monkey and juggling a demanding corporate career, (he needs a lot of convincing especially when the housework doesn’t get done and there is never any food in the fridge!). Personally it would be a massive achievement and far out strip any expectations that I had when I nervously started writing. Thank you for reading sorry to beg! xx

Tots 100 Awards

Now back to the linky – THANK YOU so very much to all of the bloggers who joined us last week! We had a amazing 85 outstanding posts linked up.  We are so happy that the community is continuing to grow. All of the fabulous posts makes it hard to pick a fav but here are ours from last week’s linky…

My favourite post last week came from the lovely Fi who writes over at BeautyBabyandMe – ‘C-sections are NOT the easy option‘. Something which is very close to my heart at the moment, Fi also raises a bigger point about ‘REAL WOMEN’ pop over and have a read.

Becky’s favorite post last week came from Kate who writes over at The Less Refined Mind – ‘Is it Ever Okay to Lie to Your Child?’ I love this series as once a week her husband asks her any question he likes and she needs to reply honestly….

#BloggerClubUK Linky Rules:

1.The linky will close at 150 posts or Friday at midnight GMT – whichever comes first.

2. Add our badge to the HTML / Text portion of your post. Or, add a back link to one of our blogs using #bloggerclubuk. I appreciate as I run on wordpress.com that the badge is in my sidebar and so you can’t see it on a phone. A link back with a hashtag is fine if you are linking up from your phone and probably a lot easier for you. Becky has written a Linky Guide should you need a hand or feel free to tweet me.

3. Please comment on one of Becky’s posts, one of my posts, & one other of your choice. Please Tweet the post directly before yours. Feel free to comment on more but please do those 3 as a minimum! The more comments you leave, often the more comments you get back in return & that strengthens the community.

4. Link a maximum of 2 posts per week.

5. Tag myself & Becky on Twitter with #BloggerClubUK for a RT @CuddleFairy @MudpieFridays

Please note that by linking up you give us permission to use your image if your post is featured & subscribe to our email reminder list. Please enter the link up using the link directly below:
