#RememberingTheseDays Week 3
Welcome to the second weekly round up of the #RememberingTheseDays Instagram community. The place to share your precious family memories. I host this community with the lovely Laura over at Life with Baby Kicks.
Whatever the memory, or life event you want to record, joining in is simple, just tag your favourite photos #RememberingTheseDays over on Instagram. Each Sunday Laura and I will choose our four favourites. Please follow Mudpie Fridays here and Life with Baby Kicks here on Instagram to see if you have been featured.
So onto this weeks favourites, thank you to everyone that is using the tag, we have had over 650 tags!! I have high hopes for this community, I would love to reach 1000 by next week! Of course the more tags the harder it is to choose…
- This photo is simply stunning and was taken by Oh_Maxwell entitled ‘He finds magic everywhere we go’
- Its that time of year when instagram is full of lavender photos but I love that this little one is getting ‘snap happy’ just like his mummy Life as a single mum
- I really like the filters applied to this photo by Mum in a nutshell of two of her three boys ‘without a care in a world’.
- The lovely HelloArchie.Blue brought tears to my eyes with this photo, the cute dungarees that little A is wearing belonged to her brother, a brother who is no longer with her.
Please pop over and visit their feeds by clicking on the names above.
As ever I have struggled with my feed, I really should get some of them printed out!! I loved the lavender field photo of Monkey and Kipper together. Its made me realise that I don’t take many photos of them together. I’m going to aim to take one a week going forward. Although it wasn’t my favourite, instead it was this one with Monkey and his little friend. I gave them an umbrella and told them to stand next to the post box and they giggled and posed and laughed it was lovely to watch. They have a bond that he doesn’t have with anyone else and I think the feeling is mutual.
I really liked Laura’s video on baking, there was something very satisfying about it, however I think my favourite is of Baby covered in chocolate. I loved that phase, Monkey was especially keen on Spaghetti Bolognese so we have many a similar photo. It really is one of the obligatory images of childhood which will stay with me for years to come.
Come and join in by using the hashtag #RememberingTheseDays, and please pass this page to your Instagram buddies. I would be over the moon if we reached 1000 by this time next week.
Which one is your favourite I would love to hear in the comments below.
