#RememberingTheseDays Week 8
Whatever the memory, or life event you want to record, joining in is simple, just tag your favourite photos #RememberingTheseDays over on Instagram. Each Sunday Laura and I will choose our four favourites. Please follow Mudpie Fridays here and Life with Baby Kicks here on Instagram to see if you have been featured.
So onto this weeks favourites, thank you to everyone that is using the tag, we have had almost 2600 posts now. Laura and I are both so happy that the community continues to grow. Its lovely to have you all and I really enjoy seeing everyones photos. There has definately been a beach theme going on as we all enjoy the last days of Summer and time together before the kids return to school.
Oh I had such trouble choosing this week and ended up with a short list of 25 photos before reducing it down to these four lovely images from top left to bottom right we have:
- Cartwheels in the sun from @waytoomuchluggage the light in this photo is simply beautiful such a simple shot but stunning!
- It’s a twin thing over at @claireyharpo, when I look at this photo I wonder what her boys are thinking. Even more impressive that it was taken on her phone!
- I will so be replicating this shot when Kipper goes into his cot, they always look so peaceful when they are sleeping. Such a lovely capture @everydayhipsterphoto
- How to make twinkle twinkle magical from @topfivemum who completely throw me when I saw the above photo in her feed too! Obviously both very talented.
Please pop over and visit their feeds by clicking on the names above.
My favourite from my feed this week is this one of Monkey in the swimming pool. As you read this we will be travelling home from Spain where we have spent a wonderful two weeks minus the tantrums (there were a few!). However during this holiday Monkey learnt to swim, not far 10m or so without any swim aids. Not only that he took a breath as he swam, which may seem minor but I know his swim teacher will be really happy!
My favourite from Laura’s feed is this photo of the big one having lots of fun, such a beautiful smile. Wishing them all lots of luck in getting into their new home as quickly as possible!

It's been 5 months since we packed up all of our possessions and sent them round the world. That's a long time for a little boy to live out of a suitcase, to have all his toys on a big ship, to be out of routine. For his bed to be gone. His room. BUT… The end is in sight, our shipment is getting closer, as is our new house. And with both, a chance for my little boy to settle down, get back into routine and laugh until he can't laugh anymore.
Come and join in by using the hashtag #RememberingTheseDays, and please pass this tag to your Instagram buddies. I would be over the moon if we reached 3000 by this time next week!!
Which one is your favourite? I would love to hear in the comments below.
