Welcome back to week twelve of #RememberingTheseDays Instagram community. The place to share your precious family memories. I host this community with the lovely Laura over at Life with Baby Kicks.
Whatever the memory, or life event you want to record, joining in is simple, just tag your favourite photos #RememberingTheseDays over on Instagram. Each Sunday Laura and I will choose our four favourites. Please follow Mudpie Fridays here and Life with Baby Kicks here on Instagram to see if you have been featured. Our little community is continuing to grow and we have over 4600 tags now which means week on week more people are joining us. I would just like to say a massive thank you to everyone.
So onto this weeks favourites. This week its all about the babies for me probably because Kipper has been spoiling me with lots of smiles this week. I had forgotten what a lovely age five months is!
So the babies from top right to bottom left are:
- Its been a week of milestones for @sparklesandstretchmarks with her little one cutting his first tooth and sitting up!
- Look at that beautiful smile, this little one did very well in her 7-9 month check up an understandably proud mummy @amumtrackmind
- Loving this hat! I want one for my little Monkey @twotinyhands
- This little one looks very handsome in his lavender baby grow and I am totally digging the little mohawk @lavendervibesau
Please pop over and visit their feeds by clicking on the names above.
Its been a tough week this week, Monkey has found the long school days hard work and its starting to take it toll on all of us. I know that before we realise it Christmas will be upon us and I will be preparing myself to go back to work. I will yearn for these days where I had no time pressures, that my only need was to capture this memory of Kipper. No deadlines, no stresses and plenty of time to enjoy the moment. Which is why I have chosen it as my favourite this week.

Those eyes, I had my first lesson in photoshop on Wednesday night and we learnt all about picking out colour. Ive been trying to find away to record Kipper's eye colour as its likely to change into a wishy washy green like mine. You can already see green flecks appearing… at least I will be able to remember the blue to now.
My favourite from Laura’s feed is this one of the Big One at 10 weeks old, he is turning four this week. Being a mum can be so bitter sweet on one hand you want them to grow, develop, explore and become the people they are meant to be. On the other you want to hold them back a little and hold them closer, knowing we will never get these moments back. Although knowing, hoping that there are many more special moments to come.

Our topic at school is "all about me" which meant that we (we being me of course) had to send in a family photo and a baby photo this week. Being highly disorganized I only managed to get that sent in today after running round to find a photo shop yesterday. It's hard to believe that this tiny, 10 week old baby, is going to be four a week tomorrow. At the time I couldn't imagine having a four year old, now my memory is hazy of having a newborn, only child.
Come and join in by using the hashtag #RememberingTheseDays, and please pass this tag to your Instagram buddies. I would be over the moon if we reached 5300 by this time next week!! Please share the tag with your buddies, they do not need to be bloggers to join in, everyone is welcome.
Which one is your favourite? I would love to hear in the comments below.
