Welcome back to week thirty one of #RememberingTheseDays Instagram community. The place to share your precious family memories. I host this community with the lovely Laura over at Life with Baby Kicks

Whatever the memory, or life event you want to record, joining in is simple, just tag your favourite photos #RememberingTheseDays over on Instagram. Each Sunday Laura and I will choose our four favourites. Please follow Mudpie Fridays here and Life with Baby Kicks here on Instagram to see if you have been featured.

Each Saturday when I go in to choose my favourites and make sure I have liked every photo within the tag, I always try to guess how many we will be up to. It seems only like yesterday that I was posting about reaching 10,000. Yet this week we went over 20,000! Laura and I are very surprised by how successful the tag is and would like to say a big thank you to everyone who continues to use #RememberingTheseDays.

I don’t know about you but I am missing the good weather, having returned to work now I am very disappointed when I can not go and explore this weekend. Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind snow, but I don’t like the drizzle, sleet and general coldness which seems to have distended. Therefore I have decided to pick a theme of being outside this week, in the hope it may motivate me to brave the weather tomorrow!

This weeks favourites:

#Rememberingthesedays Week 31

From top left to bottom right:

  • I am totally loving the mini snowman from @the_littleadventurer’s son, he decided to call him Rainbow! How sweet.
  • Such a beautiful capture by @jennihorsley of her little man running away from the waves! That face – pure joy.
  • Climbing two mountains in one day! @viechoufleur sounds like a wonderful day outside running in streams and racing over fields.
  • This little photo makes me laugh out loud. I can so imagine Monkey doing something similar, great comedy moment over at @squishedblueberries.

Please pop over and visit their feeds by clicking on the names above.

My favourite from my feed is this one of Kipper at our baby sensory class. I am a little gutted that we can no longer go as Thursday is now a working day for me. It will hold very happy memories. It was also my #LivingArrows photo this week too!

My favourite from Laura’s feed is this one of Laura and her dad. A beautiful tribute and a reminder to hold everyone we care for closer and to spend more time ‘present’ with those we love.

This is a photo of me and my dad. 5 years ago today he died. Suddenly. Unexpectedly. _ He's missed out on so much in the last 5 years. He didn't get to walk me down the aisle, he didn't have the chance to meet my boys, he never saw us emigrate or know that I eventually took to story telling and writing. _ Yet he lives on. In every lesson that he taught me that I in turn pass onto my boys. In everything he showed me about love and marriage that I do with my husband. _ He may not be here anymore but his legacy is. _ Hold those you love extra tight, you can never have enough cuddles, kisses or I love you. Life is precious, life is too short for shoulda, woulda, coulda. And when all else fails there's always love. _ To my dad – I'll always remember.
