Review: FITLEGS Compression Socks

Ad – I have been sent the compression socks featured in this post and have been compensated for my time.

Review FITLEGS Compression Socks: Until I was contacted by FITLEGS I thought compression socks were only for pregnancy and travelling. After all that it is the only time I have worn them. Until now. Yes of course they are recommended for both travelling and pregnancy. But I was unaware of the benefits of wearing them as a busy working parent.

Review FITLEGS Compression Socks

FITLEGS compression socks were developed in 2016. The main aim of the company is to spread the word around how compression socks can benefit people in their everyday lives. I have been putting them to the test these last few weeks. For work I spend a lot of time in the car driving. When I am in London I can spend a lot of time on my feet. I have been amazed by what a difference FITLEGS compression socks have made.

Occasionally I still suffer from water retention in my ankles. Thanks kids! Especially when it’s hot. But by wearing these socks it’s all but disappeared. The reason for it is that the graduated compression level increases blood flow to the muscles and improves circulation. Helping to relieve tired achy legs and swollen ankles and feet. Its also worth noting that the specific compression range that FITLEGS use is 14-17mmHg. Which has been clinically proven to help the prevention of DVT.

My Conclusions

I have been wearing the FITLEGS Everyday to work as they come in a sensible black colour. Priced at £13.99 they are made from microfibre, which is lightweight comfortable and stretchable. So they are very easy to put on. I was also sent two pairs of FITLEGS Life. Which are made from the same microfibre but come is bright colourful patterns. They are a far cry from the pair I had when I was pregnant. Or worse the dark green pair I had in the hospital!

Slipping them on under skinny jeans you wouldn’t know I had anything but fashion socks on. This was a real eye-opener as I assumed you would be able to see the top of them. But you couldn’t. Not only have they helped with my ankles but even after walking around a theme park all day I had no aching feet or calves. They were also perfect for when we visited Italy with Eurocamp over May half term. I wish I had come across FITLEGS before and will be buying more pairs! The FITLEGS Everyday Life retail at £14.95.
