‘You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

I don’t think we could have asked for a better first mini-break after lockdown. We spent a few days at the lovely Croyde Bay Resort over the weekend. I will be writing our about trip shortly. However, the proximity to the beach is amazing, literally a hop skip and a jump over the sand dunes. Which meant we spent a lot of time there and could not have asked for nicer weather for our trip. If I am honest it was a bit of a struggle to leave this morning.

Our pictures were taken on Saturday where we spent the day rock pooling and bodyboarding. We got a good haul when rock pooling including crabs, fish and strip. Plus Hubby found the most beautiful piece of sea glass which I think I will probably end up framing at some point. We always look for sea glass as Monkey loves it, but we had never found anything like this before.

My other photos are of the boys messing around on their new boards in the sea. They were so excited to try them out and had a complete blast. Crodye does lend itself with its beautiful wide beach and shallow waters. Thankfully we have a beautiful beach not that far from us so they will be getting a lot of use over the Summer. I think their faces say it all.
