‘We’ are Clare, an individual blogger, wife and mother.  Mudpie Friday’s is the blog.  I know that privacy policies aren’t the most thrilling read but if you could read this one then I would really appreciate it.

I am committed to maintaining your trust and confidence when you visit my blog.  In particular, I want you to know that I will NEVER sell, rent or trade your information with other companies, businesses or bloggers for marketing purposes.  I just don’t agree with it on principle.

However, if you are still concerned read on to understand why I collect your personal information, how I use it, any conditions under which I may disclose it to others and how I keep it secure.

Mediavine Programmatic Advertising (Ver 1.1)

The Website works with Mediavine to manage third-party interest-based advertising appearing on the Website. Mediavine serves content and advertisements when you visit the Website, which may use first and third-party cookies. Types of Data we collect

Website Cookies

On my website, I use cookies to collect information.  This includes information about browsing behaviour by people who access the website, mainly, information about the pages you view and your journey around our websites. Detailed information is set out in my Cookie Policy.

Google Analytics & Jetpack Statistics

When you visit Mudpie Friday’s, I use third-party services, Google Analytics and Jetpack Statistics, to collect standard internet log information and details of your behaviour patterns.  I do this to find out thing such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the website. This information is only processed in a way which will not identify you. I do not make, and do not allow Google Analytics nor Jetpack Statistics to make, any attempt to find out your identity.

Mailing Lists

As part of the registration process for my email newsletter, I collect personal information.  I use that information for a few reasons:

I use a third party provider, MailChimp, to deliver my newsletter.  I gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help monitor and improve my newsletter.  If you wish to find out more then please read MailChimp’s privacy notice.

You can unsubscribe from the updates at any time you wish by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of my emails or by simply emailing me.

Giveaways

I frequently host giveaways on Mudpie Friday’s using Gleam.io.

When you enter your details into the Gleam widget on a giveaway page, the information you enter is being stored alongside an IP address and date and time stamps.  None of this data is stored on Mudpie Friday’s server.

I use this information for the purpose of the giveaway to:

Any information, such as your name, email address, and postal address, may be shared with the sponsor of the giveaway for the sole purpose of ensuring that you receive your prize.  The sponsor is also subject to General Data Protection Regulations and should also handle your personal data sensitively.
