We have been enjoying the Elf on the Shelf for 11 years. That is a lot of nights of finally getting into bed only to realise that we have yet to set something up for the elves. To then rush downstairs to try and come up with our own creative ideas late at night. That was until we received the ultimately convenient elf idea kit. Unlike last year we have it all planned out in advance and it doesn’t need to be last minute. The boys have always loved their Elf on the Shelf and now with the Santa-approved 24-day prop kit, we can too.

The Elf on the Shelf 24-Day Ultimate Elf Ideas Kit Review

Now I have tried other elf on-the-shelf annual kits in previous years. Quite frankly, I was disappointed and wondered why I wasted the money. So I was a little sceptical. However, one thing this kit has over the others is that is an offical kit. This not only means Santa-approved props direct from the North Pole but also that it has been created by the people responsible for the Scout elves. It is also a brand-new kit for 2024 and the latest addition to the many different elf on the shelf kits. So the kids won’t have seen the new creative activities elsewhere.

The box has an instruction card, which sets out how to use the custom scenes. These are three printed double sided backdrops which can be used when setting up your elves. Then there are 24 individually wrapped packages. Each has everything you need to set up a fun elf activity each day. I like that they are individually wrapped as it means that even though there are small parts, everything is in one place. So it makes setting up quick and you don’t need to think about it. So much so that December 1st comes with a welcome letter and then there is a departure letter for the 24th. This 24-day kit does have everything you need with over 70 polar props.

Things I love about the Elf on the Shelf Kit

I can set up our elves on the shelf with minimum effort and maximum ease.
There are lots of different ideas, giving a lot of variety and each has interchangeable pieces.
Plus you can use the props to make your own set ups as well. Charlie in particular enjoyed using them to create something new.
The ideas can be used over and over again or added to make completely different ideas next year.
They are the perfect size for the Scout elves.
I am looking forward to an ultimately stress-free holiday season that to this kit.

How much is the Elf on the Shelf 24-Day Kit

Looking online unsurprisingly many places have already sold out of the ultimate elf kit. However, I have seen it still available on Amazon for £29.99. Although I recommend shopping around as you may find it cheaper.
