However, if you are studying away from home, then you will need to find somewhere to live for the duration of your time at university. You could apply for student halls, but you will need to get in quickly as they only have a limited number of rooms and spaces available. If you don’t want to stay on site, then you could look into other accommodation options. This could be renting somewhere or staying with friends and family nearby.
Getting By
Finally, you will need to find a way of getting by when you are studying at university. Many students will have some other job alongside studying. This gives them the chance to make their own money rather than relying heavily on parental funding. A lot of people like to make their own money so they can have something to call their own and feel proud when they are spending it on the things they want and need.
