Advent Calendar Fillers For Teenagers. It is slowly starting to dawn on me that Charlie is now officially a tween. I am not sure how my cute adorable toddler is now almost as tall as me, knows his own mind and is fast heading towards becoming a teenager. The boys love their wooden advent calendars, they are such a fun tradition. And I know it is not something that Charle will want to give up even if he is growing up. In fact, his little gifts ideas seem to get wackier each year and I can see him expecting one in his 20s! He loves th Christmas magic so much. But I find the clues are a great way to add a bit of excitement for free!

As I mentioned the boys have wooden advent calendars. But there are lots of different options out there. When looking for advent calendars for teenagers or tweens then you may want to consider one of the below. As they are generally larger. Which makes accommodating different-sized gifts easier.
Teenagers may also feel like they are too old for the more traditional type of reusable advent calendars. So a cardboard box full of brown paper bags with numbers on them may appeal to their more grown-up attitude and make great advent calendar ideas for teens.
- Mini Boxes – each with a number on them. Tend to come flat-packed and are a good option if you are travelling for Christmas. Or looking to keep the cost down. They can be reused just like wooden ones. They tend to be slightly bigger and so are useful for the more bulky items.

I have brought some simple kraft brown paper bags and will fold down the top and use a number sticker to secure them. - Hessian Bags – I love these. They are normally tied with red ribbons and hung from a beam or a branch. Such a natural feel and is easy to make yourself. You could even theme them to your tween’s bedroom with an extra large one for Christmas Day.
