Lapland Letters Review. One of our Christmas Traditions is to send and receive letters from father Christmas. Ever since Charlie was born over nine years ago, I have been looking for new ways to make the festive season truly magical. For me, it is the little things that count. Our focus has always been on experience over ‘things’ and this has always rung true over Christmas. Even more than other times of the year. So I was delighted when I found out about Lapland Letters. They create beautiful personalised letters from Santa which bring some extra magic to your home at Christmas. And they have thought of everything..

Ordering Lapland Letters
Ordering is really straightforward via their website. They offer ten different letters so you can pick something which will suit your child. With new ones added each year the range includes a first Christmas, first year at school as well as themes around being on the good list, baking, Rudolph and not stopping believing.
To order you complete the online form with some personal details that are then woven into the letter. Including their age, a best friend, what was left out for the reindeers last Christmas and the gift they would like from Santa. There is even a place to leave a personalised note from Santa. We used this to add a message about our upcoming visit to Lapland. They currently have an early bird offer running which means that as well as the beautifully illustrated letter you also can also order Santa BUMPER activity pack for the special price of £2.95. As well as this you can add certain other magical extras including wishing stars and reindeer food which we have included in our pictures below.
Delivery of Lapland Letters
As they deliver worldwide it is worth having a look at their delivery times and cut off dates on the website. Although they aim to print all letters the next day they are dependant on Royal Mail and the sorting office which can get very busy this time of year. We received our letters in a few days. The individual letters come in their own individually addressed and postmarked envelopes. But they are delivered inside a large white envelope addressed to the parents. Giving you flexibility on how the letters ultimately arrive at your house if that is on your doormat, down the chimney or if they are delivered by your elf.
What do you get in the envelope?
We were sent our personalised Lapland Letter and Santa Map (£5.95), the Lapland Bumper Activity Pack (£2.95), Santas Magical Wishing Stars (£1.95) and Reindeer Food with Moonsparkles (£3.95).
Personalised Lapland Letter
Beautifully written and illustrated the letter as a picture of Santa and includes all of the personalisation detailed above. On its reverse, there is Santa’s secret map.

BUMPER Activity Pack
This really adds to the magic! Inside the Bumper Activity Pack, you get:
- Activities, games and an Elf-clusive colour me in Door Hanger – made from thick card there is plenty to keep them entertained with this two-sided A5 card. Including a word search, matching the shape and colouring. The door hanger will also make a nice keepsake for the Christmas box.
- A colour me in Christmas Card which includes a Design Your Christmas Jumper inside.
- Personalised Good Child List Certificate and Elf Club Invitation. The certificate includes the child name in printed script and a tick box for naughty, good or very good! With authentic stamps that give it even more validity. The Elf club invitation gives you an official elf name based on your initial and month of birth.
- Christmas countdown and Santa Treat Board. The Christmas countdown is a colouring advent calendar, while on the reverse Santa’s treat board gives you the opportunity to leave a cookie and nibbles for Santa and his reindeer.
- Santa Stop Here Poster and Elf Club Rules. The poster will look great in a window making sure the big man stops!
- Santa Thank You Postcard – ideal for your little one to send a personalised thank you to Santa.

Santas Wishing Stars
Ideal for hanging on the Christmas Tree for Santa to pick up when he visits. These wishing star decorations allow your child to make a wish for the year ahead.
Things I really like about Lapland Letters
- The quality is outstanding. the card is thick and the paper is of good quality. The printing is lovely and bright without blurring or smudging.
- Plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained on the run-up to Christmas and would make a lovely addition to their Christmas Eve box.
- There is plenty of ways in which you can personalise the letters
- I also really like the range of additional items you can add to your letter if you would like
