Chipmunks Footwear Wellies Review: I don’t think I am alone when I say I am longing for Spring to make an appearance. The boys have been going stir crazy. I know we have hit crisis point when all Monkey does is ask to go outside. Kipper’s even learnt the word garden. So over the weekend we decided to head to the Dinosaur Island Park for some fresh air. Unfortunately there wasn’t any blue sky and it was a still a little nippy. Not that the boys cared as they wore their new Jack Chipmunks Wellies.
You would be forgiven to think that all wellies are the same… after all thats what I thought until we received these. I really like that they have a fleece lining and removable insoles. Which is just as well because as you scroll down this post you will see just how much fun Kipper had in the biggest puddle he could find….
The pull on handles are perfect for Kipper’s age since he’s not always standing up when we put his boots on. I hadn’t anticipated how useful the handles would be to keep them on his feet as it meant I could get his heels in properly. They are also pretty hand for carrying said wellies, when Hubby is carrying the toddler.
Monkey loved his just as much, I was impressed by how easily he navigated the play equipment. The soles have well formed treads which helped him to keep his grip while climbing all over the place.
I was unaware of the brand before they contacted us to try out some of their shoes earlier in the year. I am pleased to say that their wellies live up to the high expectations we had based on our previous experiences. I am not surprised that Chipmunks have been named a finalist in the Drapers Footwear Awards of 2018. There are a large number of bright designs to choose from. Available in sizes infant 4 (21) to Junior 2 (34) they are priced at £18.00. Made from hard wearing rubber in bright designs they tick all our welly boxes. I would not hesitate to buy the boys wellies from Chipmunks again.

What a great prize. My great-nieces and great-nephew are such puddle monsters. They love to find the biggest puddle and go splashing around in it. Even the dog likes to run through the biggest puddles.
