Name Labels with Petit Fernand & £30 Giveaway

Name Labels Petit Fernand: Today is Monkey’s last day at school for the Summer holidays. I can not believe that his first year at school has gone so quickly, scary quickly. I know his Summer holidays will also fly by so I am trying to get prepared now so that I don’t end up running around like a mad thing the last few days. Especially as it will be the last couple of weeks I have off and I really want to enjoy our time off as much as possible, rather than worrying about chores. Monkey lost two school jumpers and a school fleece in his first year at school. Im not really sure how! So on my list of to dos is to get some name labels so that hopefully next year we will manage to hold onto them all…

Petit Fernand contacted me to see if I would like to try out some of their name labels. They have a whole selection of iron on and stick on labels ideal for protecting school jumpers and Monkey’s other belongings. Their labels are made in France using solvent free and eco friendly inks. Delivery is free and dispatched in 48 hours.

Looking through their website which it is easy to navigate I quickly discovered their value packs which seemed like a great place to start as it meant that I could order a selection of different labels all in one place. Plus they were great value, the pack contained:

• 20 stick on clothing labels 22mm x 17mm
• 20 iron on clothing labels 56mm x 11mm
• 40 stick on item name labels 46mm x 6mm
• 10 stick on shoe labels 30mm x 30mm
• 30 stick on item name labels 56mm x 11mm
• 20 stick on item name labels 56mm x 15mm

Thats a selection of 140 labels for £30 which is the equivalent to 21p a label!

When ordering the value pack at the top of the page you get the option to select the font you would like to use, there are eleven to choose from. I opted for a bold one which Monkey could easily recognise. You can also change the little picture which goes on the labels. This is such a great idea and ideal for children who are not able to read their name yet.  There are a whole selection to choose from including – animals, fairytales, hobbies, nature, transport and space. There is also the option to select allergy icons. I was particularly interested to see these since both of the boys suffer and Kipper also has asthma.

Monkey opted for the space rocket. Its possible to change the colour of the back ground and the colour of the text on each group of labels. With Monkey’s favourite colour being blue we chose a selection of the different shades for the different sizes. There are 26 different solid back ground colours and 8 different patterned ones. The number of text colours to choose from will be dependent on the background colour, we opted for dark blue and white.

I was surprised by how quickly the labels arrived and was most impressed when they turned up these lovely little books. Which makes them super easy to store and less likely for me to loose them. There is also clear instructions in the books which tells you how to apply the different labels. Everything you need is included. Plus these super cute Hawaiian stickers for Monkey to use to customise his lunchbox or similar.

Things I love:

• Its possible to order the labels in just a few clicks perfect for busy parents
• Theres a wide selection of different types of labels available which you can buy separately as well as a value pack, with a pack of ten iron on or stick on labels starting at just £3.
• The iron on labels are very thin and they did not bother Monkey with scratching or itching
• I ordered some additional labels with Monkey’s address on for future adventures
• Monkey really enjoyed picking his own customised options and pictures
• The stick on labels are dishwasher safe
• If the order is over £9 you do not have to pay for postage is brilliant
• I am yet to test them on multiple washes but Petit Fernand states that they are machine and tumble dry resistant.
• I like the little booklets and that the instructions are included so I don’t need to keep track of any additional pieces of paper which could get lost along the way.

I am very happy with the labels which I have ordered Monkey and will be making good use of them for his new school uniform.
